The Apostleship of the Sea

The Apostleship of the Sea serves seafarers from across the world, regardless of belief, nationality or race. In all the main ports in Great Britain our team of chaplains and volunteer ship visitors visit thousands of seafarers each year, meeting their needs through the provision of help, support and advice.

Sea Sunday 2020 will be celebrated on Sunday, 12th July.

On Sea Sunday the Catholic Church, along with other churches, remembers seafarers and prays for them, their families and those who support them. It is a principal fundraising and awareness raising event of the year.

Can you help support the work of the Apostleship of the Sea by knitting scarves, balaclavas, hats, fingerless mitten, polo collars, heelless socks or neck warmers?
